For 4 days now I have been getting eBay's "this is embarrassing...listing tool not working" message when I try to create a new listing on eBay.ca. Customer support claims a problem report has been filed, but 4 days and nothing. every time, it is please wait another day or two. All customer support can do apparently is send "memos". Anyone else having this issue (eBay claims yes)? I have tried all the standard suggestions (clear cache, etc.). Anyone have any other suggestions?

Instead of single listing try bulk listing option, plus a few other notes from sellers.

Is this happening before or after you try to upload any pictures? Are you using any software that interacts with the web page (screen reader, snippets, typing dictation, etc)?

Are you able to open the full website up in your phone's browser and try to create a listing, both when you're on wifi and when you're on the cell network?

It isn't really tied to the pictures per se. That just happens to be the point where it **bleep**s out in that sequence. If I try "sell similar" or "relist item" it happens immediately. Dozens of attempts over the last (nearly) week and nothing in the drafts folder. Don't have any templates. Never bothered as my listings are pretty simple. I know nothing about third-party listers. Maybe I could get some items up, but if the problem does not get solved soon, that would just confuse the hell out of my followers, I think.

So the only thing in there I have not tried is the "bulk sell". Not really sure what that is about. Was always a bit concerned it might take me down an awkward path for my needs. Also not left with the impression from that link that anybody wound up with an "aha" moment.

Have not been able to get to the point of actually trying to upload a picture. I briefly get the "fuzzed-out" appearance of the screen, then it jumps to the error message. I have verified that the browser is not set to block pop-ups. So the problem does seem to be related to that particular screen (the one to upload pictures, schedule listing time & price, shipping, etc. I am about try try the bulk sell. Hopefully I won't get into even deeper do-do. Thanks to all for your help so far!

Interesting that, as soon as I got to the multiple listing screen, I get a pop-up saying proudly "We've made some updates!" Why do I feel a sense of doom?

So I'm trying the sell multiple approach. So far so good, and it apparently has accepted my picture upload. However it indicates 2 listing errors: "Select handling time" and "Select international ship to location". First question, where do I go to fix these (nothing on the multi-sell page)? Second question, what does the second item even mean??

So I went to all the trouble of learning the multiple sell screen and *yay* got an item up and scheduled for tomorrow! But, just to test, I tried the single listing method again and it also worked! Dare I believe that eBay actually found and fixed something?? Not that they would ever let me know, or anything! Hopefully it will keep working for a day or two! Big thanks to everyone for their suggestions and support! Would that ebay was so helpful! Neil.
