I don't have a drivers license or passport.  So how am I suppose to sign up  for  managed payment?

Make sure everything else is correct... and you will not need these extra  items.

Driver's Licence or passport will not be needed

I did not need them when I registered for Managed Payments.

Adding your SIN may be something that will help with registration....  even though the SIN  is indicated as optional

When I registered for Managed Payments.....

I had all of the required information

I even went to the bank to confirm the bank information...

An account was opened that was for payouts and only payouts from eBay.

The most important part of registration is that your name on eBay must be exactly the same.....  same spelling... exactly.....as your name associated  with your payout bank account.

Your name is used to link your eBay account with your payout bank account.

When I visited the bank  I made sure that  all of my bank accounts had the same spelling  of my name as the payout account

A Bank statement was obtained when I visited the bank ...

to open  payout account ....

I made sure that the bank provided all of the required information indicated by eBay for this payout account.....

My personal information on eBay was checked ..... and

eBay already had my SIN

Each seller should check to see what information eBay already has.....

If you do not have a driver's licence or passport..... 

Do you have another "official" document with your photo and other information....  the same information as on a driver's license or passport..

How about a firearms license, or other such document.....

All eBay asked me for was a matching name, bank account number, institution number, and transit number.

You can use a savings account if you prefer.

You can also find it this information on your bank's website, failing that, contact them for the info.

Certainly no need for drivers licence or passport, let alone a firearms permit... Oh my.

I have a restricted permit. That would be the last info I would ever provide.

I had several months to put together the information required for Managed Payments registration..... starting in May 2020.

When I reqistered in early August 2020, I had all of the required information   and then I also understood why each piece of information was required.

My driver's license was not needed.... most likely because everything I had for registration was a correct piece of information
