Authenticity Guarantee Program

I'm in Canada and listed a hockey card for $425 CDN or best offer. It was tagged with blue Authenticity Guarantee badge. First time I had item tagged for the program. I accepted an offer for $340 CDN from a buyer in USA. The buyer payed for the card and I received the same as usual message that it's now time to ship card with the buyers address. Nothing about the Authenticity program and no address to Authenticity facility. Just the same old message from Ebay to ship to buyer. Now $340 CDN at the time was approximately $250 USD or just a hair under. Does this mean I just ship directly to buyer now since there was no mention or address to Authenticity facility? Thank you for anyone's help.

Authenticity Guarantee Program

I would suggest printing the label directly from eBay. That leaves no stone unturned as the address is populated automatically by eBay's system. You're not manually choosing the shipping address. Keep in mind, you may want to use Canada Post Expedited or Canada Post Xpress Post if you need insurance or a more reliable service than Tracked Packet.

At the very least, contact eBay directly using the help pages and confirm the shipping address. You can also use eBay's support page on Twitter or Facebook.

It might be a scenario where this specific buyer has an address that does not qualify for the AG program. The last time I had an AG order, they shipped to the buyer using Fedex. If this person is buying using a PO Box or Freight Forwarder, it is possible that Fedex cannot ship there, so the order won't qualify for AG.

Authenticity Guarantee Program

It won't go through the authenticity program because the buyer isn't in Canada so you will ship directly to the buyer.  Since the buyer is in the US they would not have seen the AG logo on that listing so they should know that it will be shipped direct to them.
