Listing weight not valid issue

I’m trying to list a car on eBay motors. I keep getting error saying package weight not valid. It’s a car no weight. No shipping.

There’s nowhere to enter info anyways. Why can’t I post my item. Or by pass the error

Listing weight not valid issue

First.

Are you listing with eBay Motors?

Second.

What happens when you use Local Pickup?

Third.

What happens when you use Flat Rate Shipping?

What happens when you use Flat Rate Shipping and .001grams as the weight?

Listing weight not valid issue

I'm having the same problem as the OP. I'm trying to sell a vehicle on ebay Motors Canada. When I click the List It button I get an error message in red across the top of the page: "The package weight is not valid or is missing. Provide a valid number for the weight." Since it's a vehicle there is no shipping and no field in the listing to enter a weight.

The only options for shipping are Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping and Shipping details are included in item description. Neither selection changes the error message.
How do I bypass this error?

@airstreamerone

I know nothing about listing vehicles on eBay Motors but a quick look at vehicles for sale they are all showing Local Pickup as the only option.

Listing weight not valid issue

Update: I talked to someone at ebay motors and was told that this is a known problem with ebay Canada, and I should list it on ebay dot com instead. So they've knows about the problem for over a year, and it still hasn't been fixed. I listed it on ebay dot com without any issues.

FWIW-- on the bright side, it is likely more Canadians will see it on dotCOM than on dotCA.

On the down side, the price on dotCOM will appear in USD, with loonies as the alternative only on dotCA, which will inevitably lead to whining from some potential buyers.
