Hi everyone,
I am wondering if anyone else has been having this issue of parcels sent from Canada, expedited and tracked parcel US getting stuck with ISC NY and ISC Chicago processing tracking? I understand there are delays due to COVID-19 but I am wondering on average how soon do these parcels get unstuck, if anyone has experience? My last one stuck in ISC NY was released to another post office after 7 business days. My buyers are starting to message me, understandingly so and I worry about things getting lost. Let me know your experiences!

It's my understanding that anything mailed in Victoria or anywhere on the island takes the ferry over to the mainland and is sorted in Richmond.
Then if it were going to, say, Nanaimo, it is ferried back to the island.
And there is no actual Victoria sorting office.
The same hub and spoke delivery system everyone hates about the GSP.
That being said, tracking tells us where things have been, not where they are, although at the moment, it seems Canada Post is trying to handle Triple Christmas shipping with staff reduced by illness, child care leave, and social distancing.
What are the delivery deadlines on your packages? It could be useful to note those in your daybook against premature complaints. Since you know where they are/have been you have information for any concerned customers.

Your description is correct. I sent three packages, two untracked to Asia, and one tracked to USA. This morning the tracked package mailed 1 June arrived in Richmond, 11 days after mailing. How long it will take leave Richmond , B.C. and to reach its USA (Delaware) is an unknown. The other two untracked to Asia are complete mysteries as is always the case with untracked international.
My point here is just to express how frustrating it is now to mail anything, with little expectation of improvement any time soon.
