Like many others here, I have started using Stallion Express and Chit Chats since the beginning of the Canada Post strike. I would like to have some feedback about both companies shipping options to the UK. With Stallion Express I can't use the PostNL option because I don't have a thermal printer so I have to use APC. In fact I have already sent a UK order with that option. With Chit Chats I see that the Chit Chats International Tracked service has a 5-22 business days delivery estimate, which is not very precise. For a shipment to the UK should I expect something closer to 5 or 22 business days?

I use Post NL for most overseas, to the UK they are quite good, 8 - 12 days (add 2 days if you ship on a Friday). A couple of years ago I was using APC, at that time I would say that they were a bit slower but not by much. Post NL for most destinations is cheaper than APC if you do a modest volume of Internatiuonal it's worth the cost of a thermal printer, the good ones last a very long time.

Do you get Post NL through Stallion?

Yes. I usually use the tracked service but occasionally the untracked service (cheap items to a relatively expensive destination).

For UK orders you can use the APC option with a paper printer.
I ship to the UK with Stallion Express, I find it's the cheapest shipping possible for a small item (that can't go as letter mail), and it's tracked too.
They need to consolidate packages in Mississauga before they go to the UK for Royal Mail, so 2-3 weeks is a normal shipping time on international packages.

I use chitchats to the UK. Its always been towards the end of that range from my experience. I'm in western Canada and my bottom end is listed as 27 days. What happens out here is it goes to Vancouver (your routing is no doubt different if you are in Ontario or Quebec), then to Asendia in Los Angeles where it sits in a pile probably untouched for a week or so until they get to it. After they do their thing with it, it gets put on a plane to England around the two and a half week mark after dropoff and after that Royal Mail generally have it delivered within 3-4 days of processing/release by customs, which is always quite fast. I tell customers between three weeks and a month delivery time door to door, Ive noticed a general range between 21 and 25 days.

I should add they arent worth using if you have other options. Right now they are all many of us are able to use. I switched back to CP more than a year ago as I was noticing untracked CP airmail items there were taking around 10-15 days given the date the receiving customer left feedback.
