How do i get prices for what i have to list on E-Bay, fromE-Bay or community.
Canada Post first day covers are usually worth the catalogue value of the used stamp.
The Unitrade catalogue is your friend there.
Ignore the supposed values in the Back of the Book of those modern FDCs.
Earlier FDCs are better , especially the Senate and House of Commons ones.
Look for "replacement" FDCs where the collector's handmade cover was accidentally destroyed and replaced by Canada Post with special cachet.
To see what prices items have sold for, do a search on the item want to sell. On the left side scroll down to the Show only section and check the Sold items box to see what sold in the last 60 days and you'll get an idea of what things are selling for.
Have you sold anything on ebay before ?
If not, you need to have a bank account linked to ebay to get paid. You need to figure out how you are going to ship things (if you buy your shipping label through ebay there are some good Canada Post discounts for some services).
Most first day covers are not worth much, so also consider selling locally (garage sale/stamp dealer/etc).
Like the rest of us sellers, no matter what we sell, we do our research; we do our own legwork....just as you must do yours...
