You will need a checking account with a Canadian bank, plus secondary information. I used my passport. DH used his driving license.

Then eBay can transfer your customer payment to your bank account.

But as was pointed out, eBay will Hold payments to any new or returning seller for up to 30 days against their performance. Then the money Held will be transferred the next Tuesday.

It's business, not personal.

And since I am in busybody mode, it is not a good idea to sell high value items online (anywhere online) until you have built up a reputation to protect yourself. My suggestion is not until you have 10 DSRs, know what DSRs are, and recognize their utter unimportance.
