Is it better to use Canada Post Lettermail or Economy Shipping when using oversized letter mail?

I'm unsure what to use in a shipping policy for small items that I would ship domestically as oversized Canada Post Lettermail (flat rate).

The options to select are...

Canada Post Lettermail (2 - 6 business days)

Economy Mail (1 - 15 business days)

Is it better to list shipping as Economy Mail so the expected delivery time frame is longer?  Or make it clearer to buyers that Canada Post lettermail is being used instead?

You should absolutely use economy mail. eBay's lettermail estimates are often ... optimistic, especially right now. Because there's no tracking, it's essential that the item makes it to the buyer before they can open a case.

For me personally, I make a note in the listing description that domestic items may be shipped untracked via lettermail.
