Selling charges are extreme! For the item worth C$1,420 I was charged C $447.78 !!!

The item sold and my funds put on hold for 20 days!!! This never happened before! It does not worth to sell anything here! The problem with delivery - Canada Post extremely slow, tracking was late. Another problem  with shipping: if a customer pays for the shipping, when why do you charge my account for the same?

Being diligent to the fees to use the system are a priority every individual needs to be aware of .

Ebay provides a very comprehensive list of the associated fees and promotional ad fees,which i feel is transparent and just.

I feel bad for you as i too have had a situation that involved myself taking an extreme loss on a sale a bit different of a circumstances but still a hook that got me bad. 

I read alot of people are moving directions on platforms that offer a more ''fair value'', i have no direct insight on that but do read a lot of facebook group chats.

I think you will find your comment above acceptable with the majority of sellers feeling about the same. 

I myself only finds one issues and on this system that ebay chooses to charge us sellers, Final value fees on shipping even when direct shipping charges are applied or if we have to provide extra insurance, we sellers also lose on that front, which i disagree with personally, so with this being said my brand uses other systems to sell expensive or high end items to have a more direct control over how fees are limited against us , and it's not that i don't want to use ebay its just unsustainable and no savings to clients which forces cost increases and puts most sales out of this market .

I hope you will still stay with ebay and get past these bumps as connecting on a global scale has been a great experience in my 15 years.
