Yes, as folks have pointed out a regular chequing account will work fine. Make sure to go through the whole process and verify the account prior to listing items.
An FYI - register your selling account on the eBay that applies to your Country. If you are a Canadian make sure to register on eBay.ca - Sellers are experiencing problems recieving their monies owed from old accounts that were registered on eBay.com.
