People are not leaving positive feedback. l lowered my price on a BUY IT NOW at the request of somebody who said could i lower my price to $40 from $54 Can. dollars. I answered his email , and said yes i would do it. He answered thanks i lowered the price , he bought it , did fast expedited shipping but there was a 1 week delay in the US because of covid. Anyway as usual no positive feedback even though i left positive feedback right away. Tired of it.
Sell on eBay for the challenge,
Sell on eBay for the money,
Sell on eBay because you like to make your customers happy,
Sell on eBay because you love it,
and Sell on eBay because you know you're **bleep** good at what you do.
But don't sell on eBay for positive feedback alone.
And just to point out, how can you expect positive feedback when you have nothing listed for sale? You appear to be a sporadic seller. If you want more feedback it would help if you have revolving inventory available.
Online buying in general is way up overall, large and small vendors. Almost none of them use a feedback system. I think it is just the direction things are going now. Folks buy and feedback is not a thing for most of them.
I have always left Feedback when I receive payment or the item as a Buyer. It is something I like to do. Hit and Miss if I get return Feedback
Often get Feedback other ways though from Customers writing thanking me. The best received form of Feedback is Repeat Buyers. I don't sell a lot here now but often when I do get a sale it is from a repeat customer. I appreciate that form of feedback more that I do a rating

As a seller, I leave feedback on shipment and include the shipping date and service, since I rarely track my shipments.
This account gets about 40% feedback. Another sells books and gets perhaps 35% return feedback. My newest account is below 10% return feedback.
But every one of the feedback I left was to a paying customer.
I'm with Liberace-- feedback or not, I'm laughing all the way to the bank.
BTW - the more demanding the customer, the more difficult he is likely to be. Never ask for FB, you may get it.
As a seller I do not give feedback until I receive feedback from the buyer
The 99% of good buyers dont post fb at all, the other 1% see it as leverage.
I have found that some buyers just do not leave feedback. Once you get many
feedbacks on your account it doesn't bother you as much. I have tried this recently :
* I do not leave feedback for a buyer initially:
* After I see the item has been delivered I message the buyer and say
"if you were pleased with your purchase then please leave feedback for me
and I will reciprocate". This seems to work most times and prompts the buyer into leaving
feedback.
