Does anyone get a seller that lies and repeats the same message over and over ?

I bought something and the seller keeps repeating the same message over and over and doesn't answer my question.  But I feel I've been had, because all the negative feed back of the seller is for the same product I had purchased, now I don't think I'll ever see a refund.

Is the seller overseas? Even Canadian sellers do not necessarily have English as a first language.

 

Stop trying to deal with the seller.

 

What is the actual problem?

Has the item not arrived?

Is the item Not As Described in the listing?

 

EBay and Paypal have you covered on both fronts.

Go to the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page.

Open the applicable Dispute.

The first step is to contact the seller, but you have already done that, so go on to the next step and escalate to a Claim.

If the item has not arrived, the seller must provide Proof of Delivery or you will be refunded.

If the item is Not As Described. you will probably be told to return the item to the seller for a refund. Be sure to use Confirmation of Delivery or you will not be refunded.

 

EBay has a deadline of 30 days after shipping. If that has passed go to Paypal about the refund instead. The PP Resolution Centre is on the left side of the first page.

 

If the seller is overseas, returning could be very expensive.

 

You have 60 days to leave feedback. At that time you will also be asked to leave Detailed Seller Ratings. A normal transaction gets five stars. The lowest Rating is ONE STAR. No stars is a free pass.

DSRs are more important to sellers than feedback. They affect our fees, the number and value of our listiings and can even get our selling accounts closed.

For the future-- read feedback before buying.

And any feedback below 98% is horrible. Below 95% is a seller about to have his account closed.

Well I did get a refund.  And I know I will not deal with that seller anymore.  You are right I should read feed back before buying, so thanks for that tip that can save me a hassle in the future.  Smiley Happy
