Recent ebay changes as a seller

Hey! So today I guess there was an update of some sort for quick listing or something. My issue is twofold; I used to be able to choose between kg,cm and lbs,in but now i'm hard stuck on lbs,in.
Second issue is with the new "Create Policy" feature, it has me so confused. I can't just choose a shipping service out of a list based on my dimensions/weights given? It's so convoluted, I have to go create policies individually for each weight and dimensions? I'm not sure I get it, and I am asking if there are any solutions to my problems, or any one can relate? Issues are both on Pc (browser) and iPhone App.

If you happen to be listing on dot com you will only see access to imperial. ebay labels on ca gives you access to metric. Canadapost directly gives you access to both.

Don't create a policy.

You don't have enough similar items or enough listings to make it worthwhile.

Just work out your shipping costs on each item and go from there.

Create Policy is a short cut for people who sell a lot of very similar items- like paperback books or sewing patterns, or socks, where almost every package of the 20 or 30 items they are listing each day will be similar.

You might try writing a Policy for  your dreamcatchers, but if you did it for your shoes, chooses the largest size and the heaviest pair.

And at this point, don't write your listings on a phone. Having the full screen will be a huge help in seeing what your options are.

If you are listing on dotCOM, which you don't seem to be yet, you will be forced to use Flat Rate Shipping, and that is very challenging when the seller has many different weights and dimensions to ship.

Canada Post went metric in 1974 and using Imperial measures will lead to errors. There should be an "i" in a circle icon on the shipping section of your Selling form that makes the correction.
