In 2016, we began the process of realigning our legal structure, subsequent to the distribution of PayPal Holdings, Inc., to better reflect how we manage and operate our platforms. As a result, eBay users residing in Canada will begin contracting with eBay Canada Limited, 500 King Street West, Suite 200, Toronto, ON M5V 1L9, Canada, for their User Agreement, User Privacy Notice, Billing Agreements, and other agreements with eBay. Users residing in certain international countries also will begin contracting with different eBay entities.

If you are affected by these changes, you will see your new eBay company name and address on your invoices, and we will begin collecting your charges in an account held by a different eBay entity. While we may make other changes to services and programs over time, you should see no interruption to your service because of these updates, and you will not need to make any changes to your listings. You also do not need to take any action to continue using any payment method you may have on file with eBay, as details of the change will have been supplied to your financial institution, who may also separately notify you.

If your contracting entity is changing, that new entity will be your new data controller for the purposes of our User Privacy Notice. eBay will continue to maintain your data in accordance with our global privacy standards, known as our Binding Corporate Rules.

The effective date for these changes will be July 1, 2017 for Canadian residents. We encourage you to review the User Agreement, the User Privacy Notice, and your other existing agreements with us. If you choose not to accept these updated terms or the assignment of your agreements to your new eBay company, then you must cancel your eBay account.

If you use Pre-Authorized Direct Debit as your payment method, you can revoke your payment authorization at any time, subject to notice of 30 days. For further information on your right to cancel your PAD Agreement and applicable forms, you may contact your financial institution or visit www.cdnpay.ca.
