All major carriers in Canada including Canada Post and FedEx have suspended services to Ukraine due to the ongoing challenges in securing transportation to the region.
What is eBay doing in response?
As there are no viable options for Canadian sellers to fulfill sales to Ukraine, buyers in Ukraine will be unable to purchase items on eBay from Canada until stable shipping services resume.
As a seller, if you currently have items that are in transit to Ukraine, please note that it may not reach the buyer. If your business is impacted, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance, including:
- Your late shipment rate
- Your valid tracking upload rate
- “Item not received” cases due to late delivery
- Defects resulting from transactions you cancelled
These seller protections will apply retroactively to all shipments initiated in or en-route to Ukraine beginning on Monday, February 21st.
eBay will continue working closely with shipping carriers to adapt to this situation.
