BEWARE! We are still at risk!!

When I opened a unpaid item process (UIP), I noticed that the buyer's ID username doesn't disappear from our feedback, it is still there.

Usually when we opened UIP, the buyers' ID ursenrames disappeared to prevent them giving us any feedback or trashing our DSRs but it is not happening now!  So we are at risk during the UIP process until they pay or on the 4th day.

I thought it is a "glitch" on eBay's end, I checked both on eBay.ca and eBay.com, it is still there!!   Did eBay changed that recently and not let us know about it???

Feedback is only blocked if you CLOSE the UPI before a payment is made. it's been that way for as long as there has been any blocking of feedback related to UPI's.

Obviously when you first open a UPI a buyer can pay and then both parties should be allowed to leave feedback. If a buyer leaves feedback that results in a defect before the UPI is closed but does not pay eBay will remove the feedback they left (it might even be automatic but I'm not sure about that).
