Buyer Changed Address

Hi All,  I have a buyer whose address on "your item sold" and send invoice" was in Portland, Or, so my invoice went out with a shipping amount to the USA.  The buyer sent a paypal payment with a shipping address of Japan.  Shipping to Japan would be an additional $8.00 - I have sent this person 4 emails requesting confirmation of shipping address and an additional $8.00 if they want it sent to Japan.  No response to any of my emails.


What I want to do is refund their payment and cancel the transaction.


Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Buyer Changed Address

Since the buyer did not respond I would issue a refund and then re-invoice with the correct shipping for Japan.  If it is an expensive item and you are not comfortable shipping it to an alternative address you can tell the buyer that you will only ship to the PayPal address.


 


It sounds like the buyer is trying to get the item shipped to Japan for the cost of shipping to the U.S.

I like your idea of issuing a refund and sending a new invoice with shipping to Japan.
