I thought I saw a link somewhere in my eBay that said to download activity into Quickbooks but don't see it anymore. I did a search on it and the only thing I found to download was your PayPal activity into Quickbooks.
I'm looking at getting either Simply Accounting or Quickbooks for my bookkeeping. I thought I saw the download into Quickbooks option and was leaning towards that but now I don't know anymore. Does anybody know if I can download my eBay sales into an accounting software or is it only PayPal?
Oh Fabulous!! Thank You Very Much!! And apparently I get it with Seller's Assistant too. Cool, now I know which software I'll be buying. I like Quicken so, it's not a hard learn. This works perfectly!
Hmmm.... this is interesting. I just switched to Quickbooks to track my inventory/sales/accounting and so far its great. I think I'll keep doing things manually for now (only been using the system for 5 days), and after a while investigate this neat-sounding tool! 🙂
jakeangel, does it work with Quicken? I thought it was just Quickbooks and I'm not too keen on double-entry bookkeeping. I'm a firm believer is the KISS principle!!
No it doesn't work with Quicken. I just meant that I am somewhat familiar with Quicken so I can't imagine Quickbooks being that much different from Quicken. Quicken is for personal expenses and Quickbooks is for businesses.
Yes it is pretty pricey but I think it might be worth it. I'm still investigating.
Debbi - let us know how you make out! I get the impression that Quicken is a simple, checkbook balancing program, while Quickbooks is a full-blown double-entry system. I'd really like something in between!!
