Went to the Canadian Toy and Hobby Fair this weekend. ( I didn't go to get ideas to sell on ebay before anyone asks ).
Talk about junk. Needless to say, almost everything was made in China.
I think the worst part is seeing a bunch of new vendors trying to get buyers. I talked to one rep who stated very plainly the back 2 rows changed every year. Only once in a while does a new vendor come back.
The worst idea at the fair, by far, was the vendor ( who came in all the way from Korea ) who had a mould for making blocks of snow so it was easy to make an igloo or wall. Not enough research there.
