Critical Error. Not buyer or seller. Can't track my package!

I received an email with the track package on it. When I tried to track it a message came up saying that I wasn't the buyer or seller. I tried signing out and back in, that didn't work. I am getting very frustrated.

I hope you didn't click on the link in the email to do that.

From whom was this email? Tracking through a website like Canada Post, USPS or UPS doesn't ask you to sign in to view it.

The purpose of tracking is to prevent buyers from opening false Item Not Received Disputes.

If your item has not arrived in 20 days from Canada or the USA (or 30 days from Asia), open a Dispute in the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page,

If the seller really did send you a fake number he won't be able to prove delivery and you will be refunded.

So either it arrives and your concern is for nothing or it doesn't and you get your money back.
