FVF on shipping

Hello sellers.

Surprisingly I was charged today the FVF on shipping for item that was purchased by buyer from France, but the shipping to Canada was indicated as FREE.

I called eBay to have it corrected, and the girl there did not know such a rule and was trying to convince me that I have to pay the FVF on shipping because the buyer is not from Canada.

Them she disappeared for half an hour and later told me that her co-workers with 10 years of experience do not know anything different than herself.

I tried to find it under CUSTOMER SUPPORT and was not lucky.

If anybody can provide me a link to the rule related to FVF on shipping, I will greatly appreciate it.

FVF on shipping

I found the answer: the item was long ago listed thru eBay.com and therefore the FREE SHIPPING to Canada was not counted as FIRST DOMESTIC FREE SHIPPING.

I better recheck all my very old listings to make sure they are through Canadian eBay.

So, if you are listing thru eBay.com you have to offer the FREE SHIPPING to USA not to be charged for FVF's on shipping.

Lesson learned!
