July is supposed to be my busy month and it's starting off very slow.How are you all doing?

I'm glad you asked! I just got my letter telling me to pull up my socks or they will take away my PS status. Actually they told me to visit the Power Seller Portal often to get tips to keep me up there. So everybody keep those tips rolling in...........;-) (I feel like I have been told to go stand in the corner!!)

My sales have been very slow but seem to pick up either at the end of the month (when everyone gets paid, social security, etc.) or this month it has just picked up this week. I will have a bunch of new products by this weekend though so I am excited to see how well it goes over with buyers. Retail sales are so very hard to predict!! It did not help that I had 6 non-payers from June.

Maybe we should organize a board Christmas shopping binge - buy it now while we are all fairly slow - and support each other at the same time.

Things have been so slow that I have been on a buying frenzy.... So much so, ebay has asked me to join as a PB(Power Buyer). We have a great time on the POWER BUYER boards talking about sellers and their paranoia with the new feedback system. 4/5 seems to drive sellers crazy!!! We discuss how some sellers treat us like they have us by the short and curlys.... and how patience is something afforded us by the shipping companies. We have so much fun! Don't tell anyone, but we have pin pointed certain sellers that we are all going to attack just to ruin their stars and feedback score... Its a conspiracy!!!!
Did I mention, I liked scotch with dinner?:^O

LOL, you guys made my day 🙂 I thought I was alone. I checked my sales and traffic reports compared to last year and they are way down. March was triple this year compared to last. Who knows anymore. Ebay is so up and down lately I feel like I'm on a roller coaster.

The positive thing about all this is I'm really enjoying summer compared to last year I had no time 🙂

In all seriousness, July and August are traditionally my slowest months of the year. This year I've been trying some new marketing techniques and it's not quite as bad.

I've had 3 weddings and a funeral today.... minus the 3 weddings. I've had one scotch, one bourbon, one beer... minus the scotch and bourbon and multiply by 12.
"Time to saw some wood"...I'm sleepy!

Received the same letter today. It basically said Big Brother would be watching my sales, as they do on a monthly basis.

I yanked everything from my store in June and just started building again last half of June. I guess I dropped below the threshold and I've been warned to do better, OR ELSE... I guess if I don't play right, e-Bay will take its ball and go home!
