How can I block a seller from contacting me? I have not purchased from this person

I want to to block a seller from contacting me. I have not purchased from this seller, now would I now. Please help

You can block and ID.

and It may also be possible to block this ID in such a way that they cannot communicate with you through ID.

You can try the following but apparently it doesn't always work. It is set up to block buyers and communications from them but I would think that it would work for any user.

First step - Add the seller's id to your blocked buyers list -    http://offer.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin

2nd Step - Go to:

my ebay

account

site preferences

buyer requirements - click on show on the right side and then edit

check off  " don't allow blocked buyers to contact me"

submit

Yes.

You put the seller on your Blocked BUYERS  List.

Then you ask eBay to prevent those on the BBL from contacting you.

This seller is not trying to buy (or sell) he is just harrassing.

Since the way "pjcdn" suggested blocks a user ID, it should work for all IDs blocked whether buyer or seller.  But who knows?  Others have reported that blocking IDs does not always work.  All the OP can do is try.
