Yes, you can print a purchase like you used to. ebay removed the feature from the current listing format but the feature is still in the system.
- Open your purchase item in one of your browser windows tabs. It does not matter which format as long as you can get the item listing number.
- Open an blank tab window in your browser.
- Copy the link below into your browser address bar at the top of your browser page.
- http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=xxxx
- Copy the item number from the purchase window.
- Replace the xxxx in the second window URL above with that number.
- Press enter.
- The listing page appears. Scroll down a bit and right where it was before, you will Print beside Report on the right.
- Click on Print and "magically" the old print a listing format shows up.
I got this from the eBay.com forums months ago when eBay made the feature disappear from the regular listing page supposedly because it was not used enough.
I just tried the above on a purchase and it works for me. I got to the print listing page but did not actually print as I did not want to waste a page of paper. Try it and post back.
How long this workaround will work is unknown. So far it has. Make a browser bookmark with the URL above with the xxxx so you can use it anytime. Remembering the procedure is hard so you will have to print it or bookmark this topic or "Float the topic to the top"
