Did you actually receive an email/alert from eBay or are you being blocked when attempting to bid.

As most sellers have blocks in place for members with 2+ unpaid , you have given yourself a 12 month vacation from buying here.

Ebay does not usually suspend at 2 although, with the explosion of unpaid, perhaps they are cracking down. Depends on the wording of the alert. If 30 days, should say so.

Unpaid item strikes remain on your record for 12 months and most sellers have automatic blocks against buyers with 2 or more strikes in the last 12 months.

Hello Gimmy,

If you've got Unpaid strikes, it will be just about impossible to buy anything on ebay until they finally drop off your record in a year.  So whilst you are waiting for that day, why not nose around ebay and get to know some of their policies.  The most important one is this:

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/questions/unpaid-item.html

Not paying for items is the ultimate no-no (according to sellers) on ebay.  Sellers pay fees for items the instant someone 'buys' and if the item is not paid for, the seller loses money.  Most sellers on ebay are just ordinary little people, like your neighbours.

In future, if you think you really want something and you are looking at the listing, - use your Watch List.  Just below the 'Bid' or 'Buy' button is the phrase Add to Watch list.  If you click that, it puts the listing in a 'list' for you, which is all your own, and you can find it under the phrase My eBay at the top of the page, or on the left column.  Listings will remain in your Watch List for months, even after they have ended.

Only buy when you are absolutely committed to paying.  Never bid on anything unless you are certain that no matter what, if you win the auction you will pay promptly.  That means once you place a bid or buy something, - it's time to stop shopping for it.;-)

See you in a year. 😄
