This is the "Karsh" image (photo taken by the famous Canadian photographer based in Ottawa).

That image was used to print the first set of Canadian postage stamps following the Queen's Coronation. The stamps were issued in 1953. I suspect the image was taken in late 1952 or earlier in 1953.

A very large number of lithographed posters exist. When I was a kid, that picture was everywhere!

Those were in every classroom when I was a kid. And the schoolbus was pulled by an apatosaurus.
With lithographs the biggest problem is fading. Yours looks pretty good.
By the way, is it actually a photo-lithograph? Look with a reading glass. If there are tiny dots of colour, it's photo-litho and was printed in the tens of thousands.

Thank you for your help. I thought it looked familiar.

Thank you very much for your help. I did notice a dot pattern. I remember it in the school as well, now. This one has been stuck away in a box for a long time. Thanks again.
