I'm going to print a label for and paypal shipping is showing that there is $100 insurance for Small Packets.
I'm assuming that if it's showing that way on my screen it's still valid?
Does anyone know for sure because if it's not I'll use Light packets instead.

Hi,
Can you give me some Montreal Books location? I'm interested?
It's true USPS will save you tons of money. I used to be able to do so but now it will waste too much of gas just driving cross the border.

dyk_homeplus sells on ebay so you can contact them through their feedback page http://feedback.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=dyk_homeplus&ftab=AllFeedback&myworld=...
I'm not familiar with their service so I'm not endorsing it or saying that it is good or bad. Unless they also have another ebay id and/or sell on another site their volume seems fairly low, so I'm curious how often they go to Sweetgrass to mail items. If you find out any info, please let us know.

Do you have any listings on ebay now? If we could see a current or previous listing and see what you are selling and how you ship, we might be able to give some suggestions.

I don't as I plan to extend my business to ebay to survive. I am selling small decorative boxes (average size is 10cm*10cm*10cm) with a average price of 20$. In fact if I want to ship them by Canada Post it just cost me 15$ to ship and that means I am not making money out this online business. I am in Calgary and looking for someone to help me with this. I also asked a seller in BC and it seems he can help me out but sending my goods to BC is another problem and costs extra.

Unfortunately due to ever-increasing shipping costs, some items just aren't viable to sell on eBay anymore. This is particularly true with lower-priced, heavier, or larger items that (as you point out) cost almost as much to ship as to buy. If they are breakable or fragile as well, then you have an extra layer of potential problems.
If an idea seems like a difficult business proposition now, in 2 years - after another 2 postal rate hikes -- it will be even harder to make any money. This is not the best venue for some products.
