Yeah but they obviously don't actually read the threads.

Check the "new powrseller" thread, pink offers congratulations to the "charity" sleeze (who by the way has had 3 days to come clean but has not emerged to defend themselves).

Must have been a directive from on high....."boy we really screwed up that Canadian Powerseller chat....could we have a couple of pink posts on their forum, that should appease them".

I just click "report" on the Pink post to Oysterguy" thread. Maybe they will read the entire thread and take the appropriate action.

You know this realy isnt funny at all. It is an absolute insult to the intelligence of the people who actively participate on this board.

I think one of the most insightful things I have seen on the US Discussion board was following the fiasco of the eBay Pink discussion with Cdn PSers on the US Board.

There was a thread that followed that eventfull forum and many American PSers expressed sympathy to us for the very apparent lack of support we get examplified by the canned answers to 50% of the questions we asked, the failure to answer another 25% of the questions and the wrong answers given to the other 25%.

They also couldnt understand why the Cdn Pinks came onto the US Board to discuss eBay Canada issues with Cdn Power Sellers and failed to provide sufficient notice.

I asked the question several times, as did a couple of others and received the canned repetitive message that Cdn Power Sellers on the .com board had requested the forum HOWEVER every Cdn Power Seller that participated post daily on the Cdn Board and had it not been for Angelo, 90% of us would never have known about the forum.

Not surprising, none of the purposrted Cdn PSers who requested this forum participated or their userids identified by the Pinks.

More damage was done by hosting that forum to eBay's reputation than good, especially given the total absence of Pink presence on the Cdn Board over the last 1 1/2 + years.

... and now to see the 3 "Welcome Aboards" without reading the posts, totally ignoring the long-time seasoned supporters of eBay's profits, well that is nothing more than insult ontop of insult.

As a management consultant I can tell you that eBay seriously needs the assistance of some Damage Control Experts and not some spin doctors.
