Is there a method of being notified about new listings

Hi Guys,

Is there a method or a trigger to advise new listings of a item that is of interest to someone?  Example ---, If I am interested in a particular type of cookie jar and a new listing is selling that exact item, is it possible to set up an alert to the fact of this new listing?

I am quite sure that if this is not currently available, ebay could set this up with "key words" used in the search.

Anybody?

To be notified by email about new items matching your saved search:

1. On the left side of the home page, click the number next to Interests you follow.

2. Under the search, click Notification preferences, then select the check box next to Email new items to me. To stop receiving notifications, clear the check box next to Email new items to me.
