I sold a coin to a person in the USA for 11. not big money. He didnt respond to 2 in voices and multiple emails. Mistake I made is i opened a dispute and heard nothing. SO i put ina cancel transaction request out of frustration. He denied the cancel transaction request but wont pay. Am i hooped now...as going to get a neg feedback?

Unfortunately, since the cancellation request has been opened and then denied by buyer, there is nothing you can do except put him on your blocked bidder list and maybe report him to eBay with the "Report buyer" button.

Trying to force a buyer to pay for an item they don't want to pay for rarely works out well.

Well at least if it was not big money, it was also not big fees. We all hate learning curves.
BBL the bidder. If he leaves Feedback you can add a Response. While Responses are not required to be positive, they are most effective if calm and factual.
