Dealing with a non-paying bidder who had all positive feedback. Now I see when I go and look at the details of his feedback, most of it is actually NEGATIVE even though it is marked in eBay as counting as POSITIVE. Is there any way to get this corrected, or is it a glitch? It is quite frustrating to have wasted 5 days dealing with this guy when I see he has been doing this to many other sellers because all the feedback is showing positive. How can I report this user to get this corrected.

"Is there any way to get this corrected,"
NO.
Several years ago, eBay changed the feedback system so that seller could only leave positive feedback for buyer or none at all.
So, by definition, all buyers have 100% feedback rating.
What sellers should do - instead of posting false positive feedback - is to report non-paying buyers to eBay. Each non-payment results in a strike in the buyer's record and they may get suspended after four strikes.

You report the non-paying buyer by going to the Resolution Centre and opening a case for non-payment. eBay will ask you to contact the buyer to work this out. You seem to have already contacted the buyer, so don't waste any more time with that. Escalate the case as soon as possible. If he doesn't pay, you will get back your fees from eBay, and be able to relist the item. The would-be buyer will have a strike from eBay for non-payment. This will not be visible to sellers, but if he gets a few of these, his ability to buy on eBay will be severely restricted or revoked. Most sellers have set up their accounts to block buyers who have received 2 unpaid item strikes within the last 12 months. Make sure your blocks are set up to your advantage. After this is over, add this buyer to your blocked buyer list. Taking these actions helps to ensure that non-payers are identified to eBay. This is more effective than feedback.

Exactly.
When you have Blocks in place against those deadbeats, you don't even see the bids and don't have to deal with those proven difficult customers.
There are a few other choices in the Seller Preferences, but the Strikes one is the universally useful one.

Actually I don't like the wording "may" be suspended after 4th strikes. It should be "will" be suspended! It is eBay's fault that allow that kind of happening.
I have seen more and more sellers leaving negative comments in positive as they WANT all other sellers to beware of those deadbeat unpaid items buyers. Otherwise we wouldn't know and again it is eBay's fault for allow it happening by not allow us sellers to give negative feedback to our deadbeat unpaid item buyers!! Time to change and protect ourselves which eBay is not doing their good job!!! It is not helping to "report", we want to know before we accept the buyers, meaning we can read their feedback and see if any unpaid item, etc. It should our rights to protect to avoid more deadbeat unpaid item buyers!! eBay come on and do right by the sellers.

I don't really see that anything positive comes to sellers by making negative comments about buyers in feedback, and blaming eBay for non-payers. If you sell something and don't get paid, open a case in the Resolution Centre and you will either be paid or not. If not, just relist and block the previous "purchaser". Why bother yourself about something you can't change? People have been reneging on payments since the beginning of trade exchanges. It's just part of the cost of doing business, on eBay or anywhere else.
The best way to get those non-payers off eBay is to report and let eBay do the rest. Having to read every feedback for every buyer in order to decide if you will complete the sale seems quite an onerous waste of time to me.

It's also impossible for most sellers.
Ignoring mega-sellers with hundreds of sales daily, a seller with Fixed Price listings, in other words the majority, don't see who is bidding until the purchase is made.
Because of the demographics* of my customers, I rarely have a problem with deadbeats, but I did notice that one potential sale was stopped a couple of months ago by the UID Strike problem. I only noticed when I looked a few minutes ago.
