Hello PowerSellers,

eBay.ca sends out a Welcome Package to new Power Sellers via postal mail. Some of you may remember receiving them. A thread about the welcome package was started in the selling discussion board. I thought we should bring the topic to the experts. We would love to hear your thoughts on the following:

1. Did you like receiving the Power Seller welcome package?
2. Does the content and information in the welcome package helpful and valuable to you as sellers?
3. How can we improve the welcome package?

I too have reached PS with 2 different ID's ( coollacrosse ) & ( sportshirts ), and have seen nothing as of yet. Oh Well!! Just happy to belong , I guess!

I never received any powerseller welcome package. A golf shirt with a Ebay Powerseller logo is a great idea. I know if I wore that shirt I would get tons of questions. My Paypal shirt certainly generates interest.

I will add to the consensus -- I thought it was great to get the package, but the contents were useless.

I hung the blue certificate on the wall for about 3 days, but decided it looked tacky. I sent the blue business cards away in some of my packages just to use them.

The "templates" provided online are also useless to anybody with ANY skill with Word. I see no reason to advertise for eBay (eBay's logo takes up a good portion of the card & letterhead!)

Is there a place to order or purchase ebay merchandize? I went to a Power Sellers meeting in Toronto last winter and got a T-shirt,however after two washes I had to throw it out it was so faded and worn looking!

You can purchase just regular eBay stuff thru the store, but Canadians are not granted access to the PowerSeller section.

Some of you "old-timers" will correct me if I'm not remembering correctly - it seems to me that there wasn't actually that much stuff in the PS section anyhow and that shipping to Canada was something like $15.00 for an $8 mug!?? Big loss!!!
