You can open a case through the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Here's what we found for "Item isn't as described"

Here's how it works

The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers your purchase price plus original shipping for virtually all items on eBay.com. We guarantee you'll get the item you ordered or your money back.

1

Open a request

Let the seller know the item you received isn't as described in the listing and you want to return it.

2

Not resolved? Let us know

If you're waiting for a response, you can check the status of your request. If you're not happy with the seller's resolution after 3 business days of opening your request, ask us to step in and help.

3

We'll get your money back fast

You'll get an answer within 2 days, and if your request qualifies, we'll send you a refund.

The case can be opened at http://ocsnext.ebay.ca/ocs/ip?segmentId=19999&query=Starting+a+return&topicId=1217&contextid=13362bb....

Hope this helps you!!

Alex

Note that although eBay doesn't believe it , unless your seller is in Canada, he CANNOT send you a return shipping label.

If a return is demanded, you will have to ship the damaged item to him on your own dime.

Use Confirmation of Delivery so you can prove he has it back.

He may or may not refund your return postage. Ethically he should, but there is no mechanism to force him.

Do NOT accept an offer of a replacement. There is no reason to believe it will be any better. You want your money back.

This is not true. The seller is either unaware of how eBay operates or is trying to discourage you.

The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page.

The first suggestion is that you contact the seller, but you have already done that, so escalate to a Claim as soon as possible.

Oops -- made a small exclusion.

If the seller is in the USA or UK, he may have used the Global Shipping Program.

In that case, he is right and you do have to go to eBay.

In the Dispute mention that this is a GSP item and ask for a GSP specialist.

The advantage to you is that the GSP doesn't want returns and will just instruct you to toss it.

But wait for the instruction!!
