Sell on both.
.ca for Cdn$ and calculated shipping using Canada Post
.com for US$ and flat rate shipping
Non-store sellers get 50 free listings per month on both (100 total)

It depends entirely on what the items are. If the item is bulky and needs to be shipped by parcel, and there is a market for it in Canada or UK, stay on ebay.ca and list in CAD to take advantage of the calculated shipping tool. If it's easily sent via FlatRate shipping and more likely to sell to an American, list on ebay.com in USD.
Also, going forward. Are you an occasional seller? Or do you have like 150 listings running on a regular basis? It seems like ebay.ca sellers located in Canada might get invited to more free listing promos than do the ones that list in ebay.com from Canada. But if you can always make do with your 50 free and it doesn't matter, then that doesn't matter. Remember, you get 50 free on ebay.ca and 50 free on ebay.com so you can do a bit of both.
