do you guys know of cheap ways to ship defective items back to China?

That also offer tracking....

Please let me know.. I have a tablet that I want to send back....

Cheapest option on Canadapost is $19 with surface shipping....

How long does surface take?

Just got my first experience with trying to return a defective item back to Chinese seller.  Firstly the seller kept telling me he couldn't find my order so I could not return the item he claims has a 2 year warranty. Then I tried Ebays Guarantee but that is a BIG joke , finally tried with Pay Pal open dispute , won dispute but shipping with tracking far exceeds the price of the item. Lesson learned " Don't buy junk from China ", they know you can't return anything so juke is what they will sell you.

Go to the credit card you really paid with. (PP is just a useful mediator.) Phone the 1-800 customer service number on the card and ask about a chargeback.

Many cards will not require the return of the defective item. Some will.
