Upgraded my store yesterday and already the first surprise!

It turns out the 2,500 free listings is only for the FIRST category. I always have listed in two categories, apparently the 2nd category doesn't count, so I'm paying the 5c for all the 2nd categories.....hopefully no more surprises (of the negative kind) lie in wait!!

It should not have been a surprise.  Listing in two categories is clearly addressed by eBay:

What if I list an item in two categories?

If you list in 2 categories, you'll be charged the regular insertion fee for the second category.

Well there you go, I even went through that list way back when, not sure how I missed it....good news is that given my volume of items, I'm still better off upgrading....unless there is something else I didn't read about elsewhere!
