Why ebay refuses to consider improvement suggestions from its members ?

I have been on ebay for almost 17 years, and have tried to contact ebay with suggestions for improving the buying experience, enhanced search options etc. The latest explanation I got ( talking to ebay on the phone) that they would not consider any suggestions because I may come back and ask for compensation if they implement it. What a bunch of !
I am trying to help them to keep the ebayers happy and they just brush me off..
Oh well !

Unfortunately it has happened before and cost eBay and many other companies millions of dollars when lawyers decided to take the case and go to court.
If you want to communicate directly with an eBay-Canada staffer you can contact eBay-Canada every week, for the weekly Chat session (most Wednesday afternoon and early Thursday):

Things were different in the last century when we could communicate directly with eBay management and make suggestions that were accepted and implemented.
eBay was small then. It is a different world now.
