can not complete checkout due to some problem that the seller has

I bought a Buy It Now item #171115225165  and I had extreme difficulty trying to check out and now it appears that there are 2 of the same tablet case I ordered but I can not even complete the checkout for one. I emailed the seller stating I wanted only one case and can they help me check out.  Their reply was that they are having a problem with ebay and would I be patient and they would contact me.  It has been 2 days now and nothing... Still 2 cases on my ebay saying they require payment.  I just want to cancel the whole transaction and purchase a case from someone else.  How do I go about this? Can the seller cancel this if they have issues with ebay?  Is there a place to go on ebay to resolve this?  Resolution says I don't have a case yet.
