global shipping program problem

Global Shipping Program from US to Canada:

Program adds extra exoense, compared to USPS, and takes much longer.

How could you possibly ship a package all around the US, and finally to Kentukey  before sending it on to Canada. be the least bit efficient?

I have watched my parcel bounce from California to Minnisota to Ohio, still on its way to Kentuky!!   Seven days and still going!!  Once there, it has to be sent on to Canada.   ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!

If you can't provide a good service for a good price, you should dis-continue the service!!    I will NEVER AGAIN purchase an item sent via Global Shipping.

USPS and Canada Post both use hub and spoke distribution systems.

If you are buying items valued under $100, avoid the GSP. But if your items cost more, you may find it is actually cheaper and faster than having your parcel get hung up at customs and having to pay duty and sales tax on your doorstep.
