"Accurate, quick, reasonable, buyer satisfied" not enough to be PS anymore!

I just checked the DSR stars description. Here what I found - the 4th star (remember, you need 4 and HALF to maintain your PS status) is described by Ebay with the words: accurate, satisfied, quickly, reasonable.
It means that YOU WILL LOSE YOUR PS STATUS IF:

1. Your items description are ACCURATE
2. Buyer is SATISFIED with the communication
3. You ship the items QUICKLY.
4. Your S/H charges are REASONABLE.

Powersellers are supposed to be a cut above....

they should be VERY accurate,ship Very quick, have very reasonable shipping and communicate very well.

Average sellers only need to be accurate, communicate well, ship quick and charge reasonable shipping.

I don't really see what's wrong with that, as a buyer I would expect it of anyone and wouldn't be totally happy if I got anything less. What's the point in having a powerseller status if any average seller can qualify?

Taken from your own post: "first is that I don't ship often enough, some orders sit for a week after payment before being sent". You think this you ship quickly or very quickly..? 😉

The average normal buyer is not a problem. I am thinking about morons running around Ebay. So even if you work hard (or even VERY hard, as you wrote), they will leave bad DSR and you are "cooked" . 😉

Well my ratings are all 4.5 or higher with the most important ones considerably higher. So yes I qualify.

Neither really, for some customers I do ship very quickly, for many it's only quick and for quite a few my shipping time is slow. I do have the honesty to openly state it in my listings and explain that the net result in many cases actually means faster overall delivery times even if the time from payment to mailing can be slow.

From reading other threads I have found that I am not the only one who finds that you can give impeccable service and still be left lower DSR.

Very few are going to leave 5 stars or Very Reasonable on anything. The system is rigged with the wording set by ebay to ensure that our 5 star rating stays down below the new discount system. Ebay's tactical stategic planning fron a year ago set in place before they introduced the new 5 star system. Another planned unattainable carrot.

I ship in two days with three days delivery to the US and the DSR scores from buyers are 4.3 for shipping. My auctions shipping is a flat rate $12.75 or less on 80 to 85% of my items.

Can you say rigged DSR system.
