was contacted by Ebay Loss Prevention about an item that was sold outside of ebay? But I bought on Ebay through Paypal. What do I do?

I purchased an item through Ebay, using Paypal, but then I was contacted by Ebay through their Loss Prevention team telling me that the transaction was suspicious and the item has been removed from the listing. But I can still see the item in MyEbay, and it is still up for purchase (there were numerous sizes of the item).

What should I do? Should I try and put in a resolution request? I already tried contacting the seller, just waiting on a reply.

Never had this problem before and now I am worried :S

Hi rolrobin.. Was that message in your myebay messages , otherwise could be fake.

New seller , your purchase of Sept. 14 ?

I would wait a reply from seller. Have 45 days to open an item not received dispute. Always file no later than day 43.

I would wonder if that item will actually ship out of Vancouver.

If you do decide to open the item not received dispute, do so no later than day 43 to be safe.
