I have sent messages to 4 different sellers over a span of 6 days, and have not received a single reply from any of them. My messages seem like they were sent, but I do not get replies.
Is Ebay Messages screwed up??

I have not seen discussion of any issues/problems with the eBay message system, other than eBay has implemented their new messaging system:
Aside of that, the possible reasons for the lack of response is endless..
sellers are not obligated to answer your messages if they do not want to do business with you although it is good customer service if they do respond. At this time of year, many sellers have other things on their minds and may not respond promptly,etc,etc...
Bottom line> there are many reasons that "could" apply to the no responds, but we can only "guess" as to any of those reasons...

I've been wondering that too. A few days ago I sent one out in response to a question from a buyer, heard a new message sound from the app maybe 10 mins later, and could not find any new messages using either the app or desktop.

The messaging system has become (wellll for ages) a dogs breakfast. I routinely get ebay cc's to my gmail addy that never show up to ebay mail. Or i will get them 24/36 hours later when i do. Throw in the filtering system built in to ebay for blocking several kinds of messages does not help improve seller/buyer relations. Gmail has had an app that works on pc for advising if mail has been received. S'been available for years. Works like a charm and I am not an app centric type of person.
Strangely if you send a counter offer to a buyer and check history it automatically says buyer is considering. Seems like false advertising to me!!! Like when someone says the cheque is in the mail!!!

Even with any discussions i routinely get flagged/tagged for upates on dot com. Sometimes occasionally on ca. Definitely not dependably.
