Hi, I am a long time ebay member, but was recently unable to get paid for items sold. I get a message that I need to add a bank acount to get paid. I get error message that ebay is unable to verify bank acount details. I tried calling customer support, but they say they need to issue their own ticket to the "backoffice support". However it has now been over 2 weeks, and I have called twice and had 2 "backoffice support tickets" written to resolve the issue. Why is this so difficult? Is there any easier way to resolve the issue?

If you have been using the phone support, switch to the Chat (email) support.
If you have used both of those, try Facebook or Twitter.
The phone support are the least reliable. They manage to combine poor training with little authority.
It took about a month and a half to straighten out this account, and I am still staying at the Rosebud Motel on another which worked fine for a month and then went blooie.

I am having the same issues I have 2 sold items and $1500 sitting in limbo. Still waiting for the micro deposits to show so can finish verifying my account. the Frustrating part is the lack of the ability to contact anyone about it. Hope Ebay is watching this forum.

Normally the Boards are only monitored for problems by a subcontractor called Lithium, not by eBay.

I wish I could assist with this type of issue @biscuitowl, but when it comes to payments you'll need to continue to work with the payments-trained teammates.
In general however, there are situations when the bank account you provided cannot be verified or used with our processors. I'm not certain if that's similar to what's happening for you, but if that's the case it may be necessary to provide a different bank account.
