Hi Tyler,

 

I'm having a problem with best offers. When I receive first them there is usually only 23hrs remaining until they expire. I received one yesterday that expired in 6hrs. This is the first time I received that offer. 

 

There is nothing wrong with my settings.... I brought this up a year or two ago about receiving email notifications when first receiving a best offer. I haven't received an email notification in 2 years now. I actually have to log-in to my eBay account to see any new offers and now the best offer timeline is shrinking.

Hello Tyler, I noticed that I have no End Dates showing now in my Seller Hub, Active Listings. I noticed this on Sept 30th and same thing occurring today. This is on .ca and on .com. Any ideas why this is happening? Definitely makes managing my GTC items more difficult. I’m using Chrome on Windows 10, all updated. Thanks.

Hi Tyler,

 

Has there been any progress on having more of a selection on the eBay Canada shipping supply store? The selection continues to be extremely limited. As it stands, I now have over 300 padded air jackets on hand and 12 rolls of tape. 🙂 Unfortunately nothing else offered at the store fits my needs. Some options that fit the letter-mail Canada post guidelines would be appreciated by many Canadian sellers I suspect. Stay flat photo mailers, envelopes, anything flat that goods can be packed in would help.

We currently have the ebay status page on dot ca and dot com. Would it be possible to either add a brief description of what the disruption is or a method to file a report?

Hypothetical question about returns: if I charged, say, 3.00 for Lettermail to a buyer in Canada, but shipped Expedited for 12.00, would I have to send a return label for 3 or 12 dollars if they filled to return? Thanks Tyler, not had any returns so just wondered.

Hi @msmaggie060!

 

The 'End date' column in Seller Hub no longer displays the renewal date for GTC listings because that date is now the same as the 'Start date'. So for instance, an item you listed on the 4 of September would renew on the 4th of each month. ****

 

You can keep track of how long an item has been listed by looking at the info under the Start Date column. Additionally, you can use the 'Time Left' column to see how close and item is to renewing. 

 

**** Edit to add: Hi @msmaggie060 - wanted to let you know I heard from tech today that this is actually a tech issue they're working on correcting within the next week, so you should be seeing that come back soon!

Hi @vintagenorth - you're allowed to arrange the shipping service that you see fit in a return - so 3 dollar or 12 works for us. 🙂

Hi @silverpinups - I hope this is the account you meant was encountering this! I don't see anything from my end that would be preventing us from sending you the emails as we get the offers on your behalf. 

 

The usual troubleshooting is to make sure that your email provider is not filtering things or sending them to spam. You can usually whitelist the domain 'ebay.com' and that should ensure that you get anything from us.
