Account restriction

Hi I’ve been dealing with an account restriction for 3 months I’ve sold on eBay for years and patterned up with someone and created this account over a year ago. My sales did spike right before the restriction due to me promoting the 1000 items in my store and believe that’s why the account was restricted asking me to verify my identity. I submitted everything needed immediately and Received another email wanting more information so I submitted my banking information that was requested. I then received an email a week later saying everything had been reviewed and they were happy with everything provided. My account has now still been restricted for a month and half. I’ve spent at least 30 hours on the phone in this time with eBay representatives and they can’t give me any information as the account restriction department does not give out this information. All I have been told is it is under ongoing legal review. This company was created specifically for eBay and has no legal issues whatsoever. Everything matches correctly on the account. This has been an absolute nightmare to speak with anyone who can actually help get this issue resolved. I am a top rated seller with zero defects on the account. I’m now looking to reach out to all the top eBay YouTubers to get this issue out there. I absolutely love selling on eBay and follow all policies. Very disappointed in the service they provide as this should be a simple thing to resolve. I’ve put in a lot of time and money to grow on this platform and feel completely mistreated. On top of this during the restriction eBay still was allowing sales to go through but would not let me ship or communicate with the buyers causing my account to drop from top rated to below standards due to the defects from not being able to ship. I’ve put the store on vacation mode to stop that for the time being.

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.
