Is eBay Canada going to add Zonos Support to Canada Post tracked packet?
That would help us buy CP Labels through eBay, and help reduce some (albeit small) pressure on Canada to USA Shipments.

the logic thing would be to do that yes . could also do something similar such as ebay charging the buyers automatically for customs and paying it on their behalf to the US Gov so that when a ebay packages arrive at the custom they know its already been paid for.
its been almost 2 weeks and i have no more hope of anything. im close blocking the US completely

eBay can't legally do that, unfortunately. They're able to do that with state sales taxes, but not tariffs.

Someone here linked to a thread on a different forum where a person claimed that Shopify had Zonos integration at checkout.
I haven't been able to confirm whether this is actually the case. I've checked a few larger Shopify sites and added an item to my cart with a US address to see what happens. I have yet to find a website with actual built in duties calculated. My assumption is that if Zonos integration actually exists, it is Zonos collecting the duties, not eBay.
I have found a few sites that claim to not charge duties, but they do charger a 30 percent "Administration Recovery Fee" on orders going to the US. My assumption is that this is a loophole to charge a flat fee that covers the duties, without violating any rules regarding the chain of custody with duties.
With eIS only a month or so away, I'm operating under the assumption that eBay is not going to split their platform and will only offer a solution directly through eIS. We will obviously be allowed to facilitate international shipping on our own, but I don't expect them to provide us with tools to make it seamless outside of eIS. The higher rate of sellers that they convert to eIS, the higher the volume is, and I assume that makes the program more viable.
Make no mistake, my preference as a seller would be to have both options. The above is just speculation.
