Oh my, two promotions going on at the same time, how am I going to watch the Olympics?
Just to clarify, this one is, any item listed during the time frame of the promotion, that sells, counts. It does not have to sell during the promotion period, just be listed, correct?
I hope I'm right, good luck all those who were invited, and Go Canada Go!

That's the way it should work. The 10 item promo in December was that way (despite being confusingly titled). I had one discounted sale 3 weeks after that promo listing period.
...
The promo counter will decrease with each successful sale until it reaches zero.
...
After the listing period ends you will have to click on the Promotional Offers "history" link to the see the counter. If you listed a 30 day BIN on March 4, the last time to check would be April 3.

It seems as if my buyer's account on ebay.com gets invited to every promo. I don't use it for selling, nor do I intend to use it for selling. Also, it has a relatively low feedback count since I do more selling on ebay than buying here lately.
To me, this speaks volumes. The promos aren't doled out to existing sellers eight times out of ten, they don't give a hoot about throwing a bone to retain us as satisfied ebay-seller-customers, the promos are designed to recruit shiny new sellers from existing buyers.
Experienced sellers? We're yesterday's news.
My under-60-count feedback American buyer ID is their target, not my 1200+ Canadian seller ID.
Of course, my theory is based on anecdotal data and cannot be substantiated. I don't have actual numbers, just an ebay foot in my butt where I got kicked as I walked past, minding my own business like any good seller. Grumble grumble.

You may be correct, but I also have another theory.
I know Pierre calls me crazy for paying my ebay bill after every shipment. But if other sellers could please check to see if the accounts that receive the most promotions, are ones that owe no money to ebay.
It makes sense that buyers generally do not owe money, and most sellers pay their bill when it's due. Could it be that ebay figures that sellers getting sales every day do not need the promos?
Just a hunch, I could be wrong.
