Today’s free shipping code is OCT9
I just saved $15.71 with a just after midnight (my time zone) label purchase. Most of the savings went into the best offer I accepted...
We'll see if the Canada Post's website can survive the day.

One AM Pacific Time and I shipped to a postage customer (not eBay) free gratis for nothing.
Woot!
Usually I use my discount postage stamps and buy the sticker at the counter for the pennies I am short -- most of the postage is paid with stamps.
The youngest clerk at the PO thinks my stamped parcel are cool.

Too bad my one and only sale this month that happened over the weekend is to the USA via letter-post. Oh well, can't complain, a sale is a sale

Printed my free label without a problem 8 a.m. MT.
Love it!

Of course, I am having issues.
My first problem was with my business profile, so I had to call them - and be transferred - twice.
Three hours later, I can get to the point where I select "expedited shipping" and then it won't go to the payment page. It had trouble with the "schedule a pick up" pop up that comes up. Once you selected "Do not show this again", you cannot cancel out of the pop up. So then I hit the back button, and now it just does nothing when I try to "continue" to the payment page.
I tried in Chrome, Firefox and Explorer. Anyone else having the same issue?
Guess I am going to have to call...AGAIN

Try EST Online as a work around (no annoying popups, and works with most browsers)
https://est.canadapost.ca/esto/app/shipment/domestic
Promo code can be entered on the payment page.
I haven't used it for the promo (but know someone who went that route last week).
For the Snapship pickup up popup, I go with the maybe-later option...

Just printed a free label. Used Snap Ship as suggested by the PO (not sure if the free label works with their other tools) and LOVED it.
They're really cleaned up the mess they had. Had it not been for the freebie I would have continued to avoid the PO site unless absolutely necessary.
I was even able to print the label out with no issues which was a first for me.
Good to have an alternative to PP for printing labels.
Also love that they now seem to be doing pickups. Just had knee surgery and getting larger items posted has been a real issue for me to this is something very very welcome.

according to the email I just received:
"There are 4 Tuesdays left - we’ve extended Free Shipping Tuesdays to November 6."

Got the same message. Just a little more details:
Our on demand parcel pickup service is free with a Free Shipping Tuesdays' shipment – the $3.50 charge that appears on the payment summary page will not be applied.
Free Shipping Tuesdays – now extended!
Due to the popularity of our Free Shipping Tuesdays promotion, some customers were unable to send a free shipment on Tuesday, October 2. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. To make it up, we will be extending our Free Shipping Tuesdays promotion to Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

After entering everything and applying the code, the total cost for shipping says $0.00 as expected. When I go to "buy" the label, it demands all my credit card info. What's up with that?
Do I have to waste my time entering that?
Yes you do.
Your card will not be charged if the amount is zero.
Canada Post reserves the right to charge the card if the package is over the 5kg limit.

For the optimistic seller:
Today's free shipping code is OCT23

Well, I tried again today and it was a bust. This is my third fail:
1. Oct 2 - Website down
2. Oct. 9 - Problem with account
3. Oct. 23 - Get to the payment screen, but credit card authorization fails (which is ironic, since the payment due is $0).
I spent about 3 hours in total trying to deal with this today (probably about equal amounts of time the 2 times prior - so I've logged 9 hours into this free shipping promo).
Tech support was about 2 hours, where after my hold, we tried several different things to get the payment to go through ( which also included trying multiple PCs, multiple credit cards, multipile browsers). It's definitely a tech issue specific to my account, that they supposedly resolved on Oct. 9th - but all it did this time was let me get past the shipping selection page, and stop me at the payment page.
Tech support had to escalate it to 2nd tier support and give me a ticket and said it would take 24-48 hours before they get back to me. Since that means I miss out on the promo AGAIN, he then transferred me to Small Business Solutions and said they should be able to give me a coupon to make things right.
After another lengthy hold, this new Rep could barely speak English and spoke waaaay to quickly, and told me they are no longer giving out coupons, and wanted to transfer me back to tech support. After a frustrating experience trying to explain that I'd already gone as far as I could with tech support, I asked to escalate the call. Thankfully after I did that, I got a great supervisor who was wonderful, and told me to ship my package today and that she'd refund my money. She even offered to mail me some labels to make up for all my hassles. Thankfully there are some capable people working for that company!
The problem with my account is still rather disconcerting, as I figure by the time they figure out what's going on with it, the promo will be over. Ugh...

.... and I thought I was having a bad day. Hopefully your account can get straightened out!
