Help needed to change to free listing fees

I have been cutting down on my listings and am now below 250. Can I just click on the free fixed price insertions? I don't want to suddenly find that my listings are missing!

In this glitchy Ebay system I am just trying to avoid any complicated procedures. I closed my stores many times in the past, and I always did after ending my listings first. "Just in case" - I try to keep the procedures as simple as possible - the number of glitches here keeps going up every year.

OK, so that means that you don't have any data or experience that would suggest or support that closing a store would end your listings, though. I have never seen any seller report that this had happened, in more than 20 years. (Which goes back before eBay even had stores.)

There's nothing wrong with being careful. But there's no indication that it was necessary.

As an FYI if you end your listings they only save for 75 days. It used to be 90. Prior to that they stayed I believe indefinitely and there was Turbo Lister.  The only way you can keep/extend is go in and modify each 1. eBay does not have any built in tools for doing it any other way.

Re: Help needed to change to free listing fees

The controversy is about LISTINGS, has nothing to do with fees. Store or no Store listings are EXACTLY the same, when you open a stoire all your current listings appear there and in regular search. When you close your store the listings will only be available in regular search, they don't go away, they don't change.

In my post I mentioned there may be different fees but nothing changes with actual listings.

Re: Help needed to change to free listing fees

I really appreciate all the help, I am still a bit uncertain, but I am struggling with shingles at the moment, so I will leave it until I feel better. There seems to be a diversity of suggestions, my brain is a bit foggy right now.1
